Biography
Mr. Corey Hastings is a senior financial executive at the Henry M. Jackson Foundation for the Advancement of Military Medicine, Inc. (HJF), where he manages key financial functions including accounting, financial reporting, internal controls, treasury, procure-to-pay processes, and financial planning and analysis for more than $500 million in federal grants and contracts. His role is crucial in maintaining the accuracy and integrity of HJF’s financial and budgetary systems, ensuring the organization has the flexibility to support its operations and strategic goals, and providing vital financial insights to assist executive decision-making.
Throughout his career, Mr. Hastings has held several leadership positions, including Chair of HJFMRI and HJFMRI LTD/GTE, and Treasurer of CAMRIS and Topsail - HJF’s subsidiaries. Prior to joining HJF, he was Vice President of Workforce Programs at the AARP Foundation, after initially serving as its Director of Finance. He also managed the Center for Neuroscience and Regenerative Medicine at the Uniformed Services University of the Health Sciences. A Certified Public Accountant (C.P.A.), Mr. Hastings earned an MBA from William and Mary’s Raymond A. Mason School of Business and holds a bachelor’s degree in English from the University of Virginia.
